Master of Science in Radiologic Sciences
The MSRS program would provide advanced training to nuclear medicine technologists seeking to become multi-modality technologists, radiology directors, administrators, researchers, and educators. The program features further training in the fields of positron emission tomography (PET), computed tomography (CT), and magnetic resonance (MR) in order to obtain national certification board eligibility. The program will meet all didactic and clinical requirements of these certification boards.
Admissions Requirements
Due to national board certification requirements in Positron Emission Tomography, student must be certified in nuclear medicine through the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) prior to admittance into this program.
Students, whose native language is not English and who have not graduated from a University of Findlay approved English speaking university, must meet the previously listed admissions conditions plus the following for full admissions:
- Must have a verified international English Language Testing System (IELTS) of 8 composite score with all bands at 7.5 or above, or an equivalent score as indicated on the University of Findlay's English Exam Admission Standards. Upon arrival, these students are required to test in the Intensive English Language Program, and if necessary, complete coursework in English as indicated by the University of Findlay's placement exam score before starting their graduate work.
Additionally, if the applicant supplies a non-U.S. school transcript the University's Office of International Admissions and Services may require additional specific documentation.
